Igogwe Hospital is a Voluntary Agency Hospital (VAH) under the Catholic Archdiocese of Mbeya. The hospital was founded by Franciscan sisters from Netherlands in 1962. It was officially inaugurated in 1963. In 2004, the hospital was handled over to the diocese of Mbeya after Franciscan sisters left Tanzania.
We have different area to fit human condition, some are RCH, OPD, IPD, Infusion, Radiology, Operation theatre, Eye department, Prevention from mother to child transmission of HIV/AIDS (PMTCT), Dental services, Infusion production (sterile water, Ringer Lactate, DNS).
